Headed for Trouble (The McKays #1) by Shiloh Walker Is Out Now!!

Neve McKay was tired of living in the shadow of her family name and decided it was high time she make a name for herself, full well knowing the only way she could accomplish that was to leave behind McKay's Treasure once and for all. So she left behind everything she knew nine years ago and headed for New York to attend college, and achieve success on her own merit, and prove to her siblings that she was capable of standing on her own two feet. Things were going according to plan until she met a charming man who she thought had her best interests at heart, but she soon learned that his intentions were less than admirable, and he left her a scarred and terrified woman who had no choice but to run. Being on the run for so long has been tiring, and she is ready to find a place where she can find a little peace, and possibly begin to heal... some place like home. So, despite her all reservations she returns home to McKay's Treasure, hoping she'll find the support she needs, and possibly be able to repair the damage she left behind. Being home again, surrounded by friends and family, has never felt so good... that is until she learns that her past has once again caught up to her!

The moment Ian Campbell spots the red haired beauty waltz into his bar he's hit with a burning desire to make her his, there is something about her that he just can't deny. So, after a few smoothly uttered words, and some flirting he has her right where he wants her, that is until he learns just who she is, and learning her identity has him wanting to abandoned his plan immediately. Learning that he just made out with his best friends little sister is a down nerve-racking, him and Brannon have been friends for years, and he is certain the minute he discovers what happened there is bound to be a scuffle. He would have never knowingly made a move on Neve if he'd known who she was, and as much as he regrets it, he still can't let the visions of what they shared go, the chemistry they share is unlike anything he has ever experienced, every time their around one another it just has a way of pulling them together. As much as he wants to deny what he feels for her, for the sake of his friendship, he just isn't strong enough to fight it and walk away. Especially after he learns her life is in danger...

From the moment I opened this book, I felt my world shift, and felt myself being drawn into these characters lives, and I had no intentions of leaving them until that last page was turned. This addictive little page turner had me hooked from the get go, and on a mission to see to it that Neve finally found her happily ever after... and I am happy to report I found exactly what I was searching for, and SO much more!! Upon finishing this installment in the series, I am dying to dive into the second and let my little adventure with the McKay family continue, and I can't wait to see what Ms. Walker has in store for this family next!! Neve and Ian's story was brimming with heartfelt emotion, steamy toe curling romance, and spine-tingling mystery that kept me right on the edge of my seat, and even gasping for air a few times too!! This one has bestseller written all over it!!

I highly recommend you give this addictive little read a try, the minute you meet Ian he'll have you swooning, and looking at men in kilts in a whole new light!!
