August Kincaid awakes from a coma and has no memory of the man he was before, all he has is a box of items that are small snippets of his life, and none of it means a thing to him. When he discovers a photo of a beautiful auburn haired girl in his wallet, a feeling of familiarity hits him and has him certain that she holds the keys to his past, so he contacts her in hopes of her being able to shed a light on things for him. But when she shows up she is bitter and short with him, and doesn't buy the fact that he doesn't remember her or what they had together, she then answers a few of his questions and then walks away. So he is once again left alone and riddled with questions, and feelings for a girl her barely knows. He attempts to make a go of things on his own, but isn't really making any progress... that is until fate steps in and puts Everly on his doorstep and offering to help him find his way.

This was my first experience with this authors work and I can say with complete certainty that it won't be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Everly and August's story, it captivated my attention right from the start and had me hanging onto every written was SO addictive!! I was really impressed with the writing style, and how easy it was for me to just fall right into the story, and I could tell that Ms. Berg put a lot of time and care into developing these characters. And that she tried to give readers a realistic view of what life is like for someone dealing with memory loss and learning not only how to deal with readjusting to their new life, but also how to deal with struggles of finding themselves again. Some of my favorite reads involve love triangles, and I have to say this one definitely hit the mark!! If you like reading stories packed with intensity, passion, thrilling action, and two alpha males vying for the same women's heart then this is DEFINITELY the perfect read for you! Highly recommend this one, the cliffhanger ending totally took me by surprise, and left me dying for more, I cannot wait to read the next installment!!
