Be My Book Boyfriend

Being a Navy SEAL means everything to Grisham Abbot, his missions give him a sense of accomplishment that is incomparable to anything else, and feed his insatiable need to come to the rescue of those who need saving. The environment he grew up wasn't always ideal, his father ruled their house with a iron fist, and sometimes he went a little overboard to get his point across, leaving Grisham and his mother permanently scarred. Memories of those times have stayed with him all these years, and not being able to save his mother from that hell has always haunted him, but with his work to focus on he has always been able to keep them at bay. Once he became a SEAL he instantly knew that it was what he was meant to do, so he dived in head first and never looked back, but now, due to an injury, the life he has built for himself has come to a screeching halt. He's having a hard time facing the fact that his time as a SEAL is over, and that fact not only scares him, but leaves him filled with a lot of uncertainty and self doubt... and now this hero is the one in need of saving.

The minute Greta Owen opens her eyes and sees that the person who saved her is none other than sexy SEAL Grisham Abbot, her mind is flooded with an insatiable desire, and the urge to run. She has had a thing for Grisham for over two years now, but she's never made her move because he's always had a thing for her best friend, but that little crush of his imploded when she walked away with another soldier. After unforeseen circumstances have the two of them spending a little time together Greta begins to see that the Grisham she knew is now replaced with a man that's deeply troubled and in need of saving, and she so badly wants to be the one to help him, full well knowing it could end in heartbreak. She would love nothing more than to be the special someone in Grisham's future, but she is quite certain he doesn't feel the same way about her... that is until one unexpected heated little kiss changes everything!

To be perfectly honest after meeting Grisham in Dare & Berkeley's story,"Last True Hero," I wasn't real fond of him, however, there was a something about him that intrigued me and had me wanting to know more about the brooding soldier. So, when I heard that Ms. Gardin was hard at work on his story I became pretty anxious to see what she had in store for him, and I have to say after finishing his story my initial feelings about him have since dissipated, and been replaced with nothing but feelings of adoration. Barely a chapter into the story I felt myself being pulled into Grisham & Greta's world, and completely entranced by every written word. From the very beginning there was this unwavering intensity between them that not only had me on the edge of my seat, but literally stole the breath from my lungs! These two perfectly crafted characters were definitely a match made in literary heaven, the unmistakable chemistry they shared could be felt from their very first encounter, and continued to grow with intensity as each page was turned! After finishing this story I am certain of two things... 1. 1. Ms. Gardin DEFINITELY knows her soldiers, and 2. This book has bestseller written all over it!!

I highly recommend you give this read a try, it is one of those stories that will invade your thoughts, steal the breath from your lungs, move you to tears, and linger with you long after the last page has been turned!
