But Autumn's nights aren't the only ones to suddenly get busier, Ember has managed to capture the attention of their hired hand Mike, he wants a date and will stop at nothing to finally earn Ember's full attention. Question is will Ember let past hurts get in the way, or will Mike finally be the one man to heal her broken heart?
The Somerset Girls is a beautifully crafted story of sisterly bonds, finding love, and healing old wounds. From the very first page these perfectly drawn characters pulled me into their world, and had me feeling like I was meant to be there all along. Their love stories developing at the same time, but the way they embraced them was quite different. Ember was quick to push her sister to have her happily ever after, all while being scared to welcome her own because of old hurts. While usual reserved Autumn jumped in heart first, and had little doubts. It was fun watching these two navigate all the changes in their lives, and ultimately find the loves they deserved. Their story was heartwarming and thoroughly entertaining, once I got started I didn't want to stop! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's a feel good romance with characters that are destined to steal your heart!
