Falling for my best friend’s little sister wasn’t part of the plan…
Mia was the last person I ever wanted for a roommate. But when the apartment I shared with her older brother flooded, we needed a place to crash. Being so close to Mia stirred up old feelings that neither of us could deny.
Our living situation changed everything.
A stolen kiss when her brother wasn’t looking was only the beginning. We both knew what we were doing was wrong. But our forbidden romance felt too good to stop.
I wasn’t supposed to fall for my best friend….
Kat was the one girl I could talk to without thinking of sex.
The one person I could trust.
Until one night changed everything.
One mistake created a divide that lasted for months.
She kept a secret from me that could bring us back together.
Her secret is also what had torn us apart.
I just didn’t know it.
Until now.

Jillian Quinn is an international bestselling romance author who likes her females just as alpha as their swoon-worthy male counterparts. Jillian is a writer and sports fanatic, combining her passion for both hobbies into her books. As a lover of all things bookish, Jillian has a serious book-hoarding problem and runs a blog in her free time. When she’s not reading, writing, or blogging, she’s obsessively fangirling over hockey players and can be found wherever she can catch the next hockey game.
My review of MORE THAN ROOMMATES:
When their apartment is flooded Ethan Waters and his roommate Will find themselves momentarily displaced, so they show up on Will's sister Mia's doorstep asking to crash with her for a bit while the repairs to their apartment are being made. Mia is reluctant to let them stay with her in her tiny apartment full well knowing that they could easily afford to stay at a hotel, but with a little sweet talking she finally gives in and lets them crash with her. Ethan knows it is going to be a challenge to keep his hands to himself around Mia, because they have a past, one with a lot of unresolved feelings and un-ignited passion, and he is dying to light that flame. Problem is lighting said flame could extinguish his friendship with her brother, and that is a line he just can't cross... or can he?
The moment Mia opens her door and sees her brother and his ass for a roommate standing on the other side she is ready to slam it in their faces, certain that they want something and will cramp her style. And true to her instincts she is right, their apartment is currently unlivable and they want to crash with her for a few weeks, while she doesn't so much mind her brother being there, she can't stand the thought of sharing her apartment with the man who broke her heart years ago. Until now she has done a good job at avoiding him, but him staying with her is going to be a real test on her patience and her heart! She plans to keep him at a distance, but he has other plans, ones that involve getting her naked, and she isn't about to let that happen... or will she?
More Than Roommates is a sultry little tale that pushes the boundaries of friendship, reunites long lost lovers, and rights the wrongs of the past. From the first page of this one you will be intrigued with these wonderfully crafted characters, and not long after your journey is underway will find yourself being wrapped up into their challenging situation, and all the emotionally rich drama that surrounds them. I have read other novels from this author, so I am well aware of the story lines she is capable of producing, but this one really took me by surprise, it not only had the steam factor I am accustom too, but it also had powerful emotion side to it that really packed an unexpected punch... one I thoroughly enjoyed. I have to say this might just be one of my favorites from her to date, the characters were amazing, the story line was engaging and spawned a serious case of the feels, and she left me surprised, (in a good way) ... and in my book it doesn't get much better than that! Highly recommend this one, it sure to leave your heart overflowing, and your knees weak!
My review of MORE THAN FRIENDS:
The moment Kat and Dean met they became fast friends, having hockey in common it brought them together and bonded them, gave them something to hold onto. But then one night things took an interesting, an unexpected, turn when Kat asked Dean to be her first, at first he wanted to tell her no, because he was afraid it would ruin all that they built between one another... but then the thought of her sharing it with someone else damn near killed him. They tried really hard to not let it change things, but it did, it brought them closer, more dependent on one another, and brought about feelings that neither of them expected... love! Now they are facing their graduation and going their separate ways, and the thought of not sharing everyday with one another like they have for the last four is heartbreaking for both of them. Will they find a way to keep this love alive or will they let it slip through their fingertips?
More Than Friends is a solid romance read, loaded with heart, emotion, and some toe curling romance that is sure to leave your cheeks permanently pink... I loved every minute of it! With each new read I devour from this author, the more impressed I become, she always produces such well rounded sports reads that give me just what I'm looking for and a whole lot more. This story was exceptional it had a touch of innocence that spoke to me, one that gave the story line a very plausible and touching feel, it hit me straight in the heart and moved me! I highly recommend you meet these two their special story is sure to give you the feels and leave you moved...and warm up your tablet too!
