Drew and Margot are the best of friends, their work at the hospital bonds them, and having the same group of friends often has them wandering in the same circles. Margot is quick to admit that Drew makes her heart skip a beat, but he comes with a whole host of complications, one being that he dated her friend, and that is a line she just can't cross.
But when he comes to her rescue during an awkward interaction with her ex-boyfriend, and claims to be her man she starts to look at him a little closer than she should... especially when he plants his pillowy lips against hers to sale their story. Now she can't stop thinking about him... even though she knows it's so very wrong, and against all her rules!
The Edge of Reason is a slow burn friends to lovers romance riddled with emotion, humor, and loads of scorching heat! I loved what I found between the pages of this one, this well penned story captivated my attention from the first page, and held it intently until the last. The romance brewing between long time friends Drew and Margot had me drowning in feels one moment and fanning myself the next.. these two had some serious chemistry! Watching them try to abide by the rules and keep their hands to themselves was torturous at times, they had anticipation levels at an all time high... but I must admit the wait was totally worth it! I am new to this series, but after meeting all of the wonderful secondary characters I am tempted to make another visit and get myself acquainted with them too... especially if their stories are anything like this one! Highly recommend this one, what you find waiting for you between it's pages is destined to leave your heart happy!
