When Penelope returned to town she planned on only staying a short time, until she ran into the boy from the past that stole her heart after one memorable first kiss. Seeing Darryl again was unexpected, but once they reunite she can't stand the thought of walking away from him again. But relationships have never really went well for her, often finding herself on the receiving end of a broken heart, so there is a lot of painful baggage for them to sort through. I enjoyed watching these two reunite and find their way back to one another, their little connection brought heat, humor, and lots of heart to the pages. What a wonderful start to something new, and of course a little reunion with the characters of the Kinky Spurs series... I had tons of fun devouring this one! Highly recommend!!
