Author: Jessica Berg
Release Date: February 3, 2020
Genre: Fiction/Romance/Contemporary

After her father’s accident, Corrie Lancaster moves back to the family farm just in time to help with the harvest. With a bumper crop of wheat waiting, the farm’s only hired hand quits, leaving Corrie with no choice but to accept the help of her old boyfriend’s older brother, Aaron Tuttle. It seems like the perfect plan until Corrie realizes ex-flame Luke isn’t over her. But even with Luke’s apologies and attempts to rekindle their romance, Corrie can’t forget his past betrayal.

Between harvesting, keeping tabs on her younger siblings, and watching her parents’ marriage crumble, Corrie leans on Aaron for emotional support. Wading through jealousy was never on Corrie’s to-do list, but as she navigates the choppy waters, she finds herself falling for Aaron’s good looks and charming wit.

Just when Corrie thinks she has everything under control, a stranger seeking shelter comes to the farm, and an old nemesis returns for revenge. As destructive forces align against her, Corrie must decide which man’s love will bring her back to life and restore her faith in herself, her family, and her purpose.

I was born and raised a small-town girl with a penchant for wild imaginings and a love for the prairie. My passions are my family, my husband, and my four children. I take the advice to write what you know to heart, so my writing centers around the strong bonds of family and the land upon which they live. My first book, A Place to Call Home, is my literary baby. I have a book deal with Red Adept Publishing for a book due Winter of 2019/2020.

Corrie Lancaster has the weight of the world on her shoulders. With her father's accident leaving him unable to work the family ranch all those duties fell into her lap, and then to make matters worse she is down a ranch hand. But with any community like theirs folks pull together when times get tough, and offer up their help where it's needed.

Which brings the Tuttle brothers to her doorstep, both offer to help with the harvest, and before long both are vying for her attention too. She has heartbreaking history with one of them, and the other just wants to chance to prove he is worthy of her...which will her heart choose?

Amber Waves of Grace paints a beautiful picture of human strength, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Corrie and her family had a lot of obstacles standing in their way, but she drew from their strength and found a way to tackle every issue and keep their family operation afloat. She also found love somewhere along the way too, but not without a lot of baggage to sort through and some much needed healing. This was such an inspiring story, it reminded me of the tight knit panhandle community where I come from, and the people there who would give everything, if needed, to bring you just a bit of relief and happiness. I must say this is one of the most impressive first reads that I have read in some time, it's words were captivating and rich with feeling, and it's characters were so easy to love. There is so much to love between the pages here, it's perfectly penned words brought me joy, tugged on my heartstrings, and renewed my faith in the kindness of strangers. Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
