USA Today bestselling author Debbie Mason delivers a touching romance where one woman gets a second chance with her first love.
True love deserves a second chance.
For family and marriage therapist Brianna MacLeod, moving back home to Highland Falls after a disastrous divorce feels downright embarrassing. Bri blames herself for missing the red flags in her relationship and worries she’s no longer qualified to do the job she loves. But helping others is second nature to Bri, and she soon finds herself counseling her roommate and her neighbor’s daughter. Bri just wasn’t expecting them to reunite her with her first love . . .
Caleb Scott knows his failed marriage has been tough on his stepdaughter, so he’s grateful she’s found someone to confide in . . . even if it’s Bri MacLeod. Seeing Bri brings up feelings he’d thought were long buried. He knows it’s not the right time for either of them to be rekindling a relationship, but being with Bri feels right—like coming home. He’ll just have to convince her that risking her heart again might give them exactly what they both need . . . a second chance.

After tragedy strikes and she is left with no real semblance of the life she knew, Brianna MacLeod finds herself returning to the only place that makes sense, no matter how embarrassing it might be. Coming home to Highland Falls isn't something she ever saw herself doing, but it's the one place she feels safe, a place full of people who love her and will support her. She's hoping she can find herself again and heal her broken heart and body...what she doesn't expect is for her first love to help her in that healing!
At Home on Marigold Lane is a heartwarming story of second chances, new beginnings, healing, and finding love. I loved getting lost in the pages of this one, the characters were so welcoming that they felt like friends, and the story they had to tell touch every bit of my heart. It was a wonderful story of perseverance and hope, watching Bri find her way again was almost therapeutic, she was an inspiration for sure. And then to see her reunite with her first love kind of brought it all full circle, it was so wonderful to see her embrace love again after such a painful and devastating divorce. There wasn't a thing about this one that I didn't love, it was so good for my heart! Highly recommend you make a visit to Highland Falls, the folks there are bound to steal your heart in one fell swoop!
