The Release Blitz for Foes & Cons by Carrie Aarons!
![]() |
From the moment they met Sawyer and Blair a connection took hold and an instant friendship bloomed, it was as if it was meant to be. Then words were written, unforgivable things said, and hearts and dreams were shattered.
Now they find themselves at odds with one another, for the last two years Sawyer has made it his mission to make Blair's life as horrible as possible. But now it is their senior year of high school and Blair isn't the same meek and mild girl she was before, she is a stronger version of her old self, one that isn't about to have her last year in high school ruined by some bully.
She plans to stand her ground and not let him take anything more from her... but what happens when eyes that use to hold hate for her look at her with remorse?
Foes and Cons is a story of second chances and chasing down missed opportunities. Blair and Sawyer have spent the last two years despising one another and making each other miserable. But this year is going to be different, mainly because Blair is tired of being the victim in this scenario, she isn't going to let Sawyer have the upper hand any longer. All it takes is one snotty retort to his badgering and a switch is flipped, one that sets Sawyer back on his heels. He wasn't expecting her to stand up for herself, let alone go off and become the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on, the things one summer can change! From here a battle ensues, and old feelings start to make a reappearance... it's a war they never saw coming!
This first time read had the perfect amounts of everything to leave my heart happy... and feeling perfectly tortured. Nothing leaves a sting like young love gone wrong, and these two really brought the sting. I was happy to see that they found the right side of it though, and finally got their forever they deserved. Foes and Cons was an addictive little tale that I couldn't pry my eyes from. If you like angsty young adult stories that make your heart feel squeeze then I have no doubt this is the perfect read for you... it has heart-squeezer written all over it!
