When finds herself standing alone at the altar Annie decides that maybe her life needs a little reboot of sorts. She was so certain that the man she was supposed to I do too held the key to her future, but she was wrong, so wrong. What if he was actually sent to her to change the course of her life in a different way?

The Lucky Escape is one of those stories that reminds us that things may not always appear to be what they actually are. Annie thought her happily ever after was going to give her the life she craved, but when she's left jilted at the alter it served as a wake-up call that she was only living half a life. She wasn't living her life to it's full potential, and was holding herself back from things she enjoyed.

As I turned the pages of this one I found myself appreciating the way Annie grabbed her second chance with both hands and let her lead her to the life she was truly meant to have. I admired her resilience, and can-do attitude, she was quite the inspiration. And her story served as a great reminder that sometimes you need to look at things from a different angle in order for them to make sense, and serve you best.

I enjoyed this one, it was an inspirational, funny, romantic, and engaging journey!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
