Every Now and Then by Erin Oliver is Now Live!
After a decade of working in neuropsychology and another decade as a stay-at-home mother, Erin now spends her time ignoring the housework in favor of putting words to the characters who reside in her imagination. In her free time, Erin enjoys cooking, reading, playing Wordle, drinking wine, and watching football. Erin resides in a small town on the Texas coast with her darling husband, two daughters and their pup, who is affectionately known as Damnit Dolly.
Anabelle needs a break, a night to let loose, forget her overwhelming life as a newly single mom. So she wanders into her local bar for a drink and some peace and manages to wander out with a handsome cowboy. A development she never planned on, but one she could really embrace right now. Just one night of fun and then she'll go back to the real world tomorrow...but what happens when one night is not enough?
Every Now and Then is a delightfully penned literary gem about a woman who needs a little grace as she tries to navigate her very overwhelming new life as a single mom. Divorce wasn't something she ever saw happening to her, nor the heartbreak to follow. She wants to be present for her kids, give them the best life, but sometimes maintaining it's all a little stressful. So she ventures out for a quiet night with a stress-relief drink and winds up meeting a man that would change her life in ways she never expected. They agreed to one night only, but when you discover a chemistry like theirs it's hard to hold to the deal they made. Anabelle didn't need the complication of love messing with her life and Hayes has a career to think about so they walked away... momentarily.
I loved following Anabelle and Hayes on their beautiful journey, it was messy at times, but also pretty perfect too. They weren't looking for love, but once they saw the possibilities lingering between them they decided to embrace it, my heart fell right along with them. It brought them complications they weren't prepared for, but they found a way to make it work and find their way to that happily ever after they all deserved. I highly recommend you take a chance on this one, it's words will bring you joy, swoon like a fool, touch your heart, and leave you with an unshakable smile!
