The Game Plan is a sweet and light-hearted romance that is certain to leave a smile on your face! This was a refreshing take on college sports romance, usually you meet a hero that only has one thing on his mind and couldn't care less about school or helping a damsel in distress without thinking he'll be scoring after the help has been given. Miles may be rough and tough on the field, but off the field he's the complete definition of a teddy bear. He's a smart guy that sometimes feels like he gets a bad rap just for being an athlete, and he would love nothing more than for people to see the true him, but he's too shy to make that happen. Then Sam wanders onto his path and changes everything. She helps him find his voice, has his back, and appreciates and loves him for the man that he is... it's all so perfect. This was such a fun story to read, Sam and Miles had me in their corner the whole way through!! Highly recommend!
Allie Lasky loves writing happy endings… both the PG-13 version and the more risqué variety. Her stories frequently feature athletes and sports adjacent professionals. As someone who referred to all athletic endeavors as "sportsball" only a few short years ago, she has developed into quite the sports fanatic. She is a diehard fan of the Boston Bruins and the University of Michigan. In her limited free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and the gremlins, the world's cutest kids. Allie is a San Diego, California native and is allergic to rain, snow, cold weather, and mosquitos.
Tucker swears he's seeing things, surely the beautiful girl before him is not the girl that broke his heart, walked away and never looked back. She headed off to college in the opposite direction and there is no way she'd transfer to his campus... or is there?
Blitz is a wonderfully written story of second chances, personal growth and forgiveness. The history that Tucker and Mason share is filled with hurt, regret, and some lingering feelings of love. When Mason decided to switch schools it was mainly for a new beginning, but to also mend what was broken between her and Tucker. She misses him and wants him back and is willing to do just about anything to win his heart again... if it means suffering his wrath. He is a wounded man, not willing to forgive and he has a lot of hostility to work through. It's a messy and emotional reunion, one I am very happy I had to the chance to read.
This new to me author continues to impress me with her words, this second installment in the series is all heart, angst, and feels and I loved every minute of it. This second chance doesn't come easy, and at times you'll be left wondering if it'll happen... but have a little faith, these two eventually find their way. If you like emotional new adult romances than I have no doubt you'll enjoy what you find between the pages here, Mason and Tucker have quite the captivating and heartfelt story to tell! Highly recommend!
