Every facet of Hayden Miles carefully planned life revolves around her work, and caring for her aging aunt and uncle who spent the better part of their lives caring for her growing up after her parents passed away from cancer. With her busy life she doesn't have much time for a social life, and hasn't been on a date in ages, but most days that is the last thing on her mind. The idea of taking a chance on love puts her on edge, but after she unexpectedly meets a sexy SEAL at a bar, and they have an undeniable spark, she starts to rethink her position on love.

Former Navy SEAL Beck Whitcomb turned his back on his wealthy lifestyle to create a life he earned with his own two hands, one that he could be proud of, and he found that with the Navy. Now after his successful career in the military has ended, he's decided to go against his parents wishes and open a bar with his fellow Navy brothers, and it's proved to be the best choice he's made in a long time. Especially when a beautiful professor walks through the door, and turns his life upside down.

One sentence into to this story and I felt myself being pulled into Beck and Hayden's world, an addiction settled in and I got so involved in their story that I lost track of time and ended up having a late night reading marathon, I just could not put this one down!!! Their story was rich with intensity, passion, toe curling romance and left me craving for more. Ms. Jamieson has a true gift for creating stories that tap into your emotions, pull in you from the first paragraph, and hold on tight long after the last page is turned. I highly recommend you give this one a try it's sure to leave you with a happy heart, and a handsome new book boyfriend!
