It was supposed to be a simple plan of exacting revenge, make the men who ruined her reputation and put her through the most devastating year of her life face their sins, and then she'd be on her way back home. But what she didn't plan on is meeting a man like Rhys Harrinton. The moment their escapade was over and her revenge was seen written on the faces of the men who broke her, pure relief hit her... and so did the tears.
In that short amount of time she accomplished just what she had set out to do, but she also peaked the interest of Rhys, he knew she was up to something the moment he looked in her eyes. He wanted answers and he would stop at nothing to get them... but most of all he wanted to to take her pain away. He just had to convince her to give him that chance...
Watch Me is a sensuous and emotional little page-turner that will steal your heart and attention from the very first page. While it had it's steamier parts, this one also had a heartfelt side to it too, it's heroine experienced some unimaginable tragedies and it's strong willed hero was determined to help her find her happiness again. I loved watching this one unfold the words were almost hypnotic, one's my eyes found them it was impossible to let them go. Every high and low that came toyed with my heart and feelings and all the while I wondered how much more our poor heroine would have to endure before she'd be free of her past. It was one heck of an emotional roller coaster for me! I've read several of this authors titles and loved them all, but I've got to say this one really struck a cord with me, it hit me right in the heart and feels and has been lingering with all day. I cannot wait to see what what happens at the The Phoenix next!! Highly recommend!!
