Tara Wyatt
Tara Wyatt is a contemporary romance and romantic suspense author. Known for her humor and steamy love scenes, Tara's writing has won several awards, including the Golden Quill Award and the Booksellers' Best Award. In addition, she was a 2018 RITA® Finalist for her novella, Until the Sun Sets.
Tara has been writing since 2013, and her first book, Necessary Risk, was published in 2016. Since then, she's written loads more books and novellas, and has co-written three book series, with many more projects in the works.

Theo Prescott has always been hesitant about love, after coming from a home where marriage represented something bitter and unhappy, instead loving and kind it made him hesitant to ever go near it. Then after having a few of his own disastrous relationship he just came to the conclusion it wasn't something meant for someone like him. Not to mention his job puts him front and center of love gone wrong all the time, so it's really hard to want to go looking for it at all.
But the more he looks at his relationship with his best friend Lauren the more he realizes that maybe it could be something more. But then again going after the "something more" could totally ruin what he and Lauren have built. She is his best friend, the person who makes him smile and challenges him at every turn... and there is no way he wants to lose that. But letting her find it with someone else is a possibility isn't willing to experience either!
Stupid Love is a story of a man that has never seen love in a good light, between his job as a divorce lawyer and witnessing the demise of his parents horrible and volatile marriage it's never been seen as a good thing. Then Lauren comes along and brings friendship and happiness he's never known to his life and suddenly he starts to question his view on love. He wonders if that is something that he and Lauren could have, but he also isn't so sure he can risk their friendship to find out if it could be love. Little does he know she is madly in love with him, but doesn't have a clue as to how to tell him about it. So she just tries to act normal and push her feelings away, but then a shift happens between them and suddenly she starts to see the same feelings she has in Theo's eyes.
I loved watching these friends take the leap into love, their journey brought many smiles, swoons, and feeling to the pages. They danced around that pesky friendship/love line for as long as their hearts could hold out, but eventually the line disappeared and they let their hearts lead the way. This was such a beautiful love story, to see a non-believer finally find a reason to believe, and discover all the good things a healthy loving relationship holds... it did my heart SO good to see Theo find some happy! If you like steamy and emotional friends to lovers stories then I have no doubt you will love meeting Theo and Lauren, their bound to steal your heart and attention from the first page!
