Between the pages of The Rival you will meet a pair of wounded souls who have all but given up on love. They tried it, failed miserably, and they don't want to go near it again. They agree to friendship and cohabiter's of the cabin... but nothing more. But little do they know love has a plan of it's own... and before long this anti-love pair will be looking at love in a whole new light. 

Watching these two try to fend off their feelings for one another and keep their hands to themselves was quite entertaining. They tried their best to not cross the imaginary lines between them, but their attraction was just too great to ignore. It did my heart good to see Aspen find a little happy after so much hurt, and for Alex to give love another shot, and try earnestly to make it work. This was another stellar tale from Ms. Ryan, I was captivated by every perfectly crafted word! Highly recommend!
