Luca is determined to exact his revenge and Peyton is a little lost by what she is seeing from the man she use to love. He is nothing like the boy she left behind, his hate for her scares her, and he takes every opportunity to make her feel his wrath and the pain she left him with. He is a man that she wants nothing to do with now. Surely there is no way that they will find their way back now...

Oh how I loved the opening act of Luca's story, after meeting him in the first three installments of this series, I was intrigued, and my heart broke for him and the loss he experienced. I knew he needed his chance at happily ever after. But nothing could have prepared me for this... it was as much beautiful as it was dark. I saw him go through an array of emotions, and I am holding out hope that he will be able to grovel his way back into Peyton's heart. I need the next installment like I need my next breath... that ending was downright torture! Highly recommend this series for those that like their stories on the dark side and loaded with angst and emotion... their bound to mess you up in the best possible way!
