It's release day for Blue Jean Summer by Maggie Gates!
Hayes Wilder arrives in Honey Hollow with one thing on his mind... to do whatever it takes to keep his grandfather's legacy alive and his estate out of the wrong hands. But then learns the terms of the will his grandfather left and realizes he's just landed himself in a bind. One that will only be satisfied by putting a ring on his new wife's finger...problem is he needs to find a wife, and quick!
The pages of Blue Jean Summer bring us into the lives of two people who weren't exactly looking for love, but circumstances beyond their control united them and love just managed to find it's way in their too. Hayes needed a wife and his blushing bride Catherine needed a little help finding her way out of the mountain of debt that she was buried under. It seemed like the perfect deal on paper, marriage of convenience, both get what they want, and then they'll go their separate ways when the time is right. But somewhere between saying "I do" and getting to the end of their deal they started to get to know one another and start to find an easy comfort with one another. It was something neither expected, but also weren't quite ready to let go of... could this sham of marriage really work? Could it be real?
I truly loved the story I found waiting for me between the pages, it brought laughs, smiles, heart touching moments and a few swoony moments too. I loved watching these two discover that they weren't meant to be together, to be more than just a convenience. It was fall with many bumps along the way, but a beautiful and sweet one at that. Highly recommend you take a chance on this one, it's pages will steal your attention and heart!
