He makes a living taking hits. She’s the one he never saw coming.
Declan O’Connell knows exactly who he is: star tight end, hometown hero, and a man who’s never been one to sit on the sidelines.
Winona Carter knows exactly what she wants: a nursing degree, a steady paycheck, and time with her book club friends. She’s not interested in distractions—especially not the kind with a fan club that wraps around the block.
When Declan is injured, Winona shows up. She’s here to do a job. Nothing more.
But recovery has a way of slowing a man down and forcing him to notice the one woman in town who isn’t impressed by his stats, his fame, or his charm.
Now the clock is ticking, and all eyes are on Declan.
Will what they shared in private be able to survive in the spotlight?
Tangled with the Tight End is the first book in the Tennessee Thunder Football trilogy set in the fictional town of Waterford TN. Declan and Winona's story is a closed-door romcom with kisses that leave your heart cheering.

Savannah Scott
Savannah Scott loves writing happily-ever-after romcoms with scenes where kisses make you melt. Her characters feel like long lost friends, and the settings make you want to take off on a road trip to visit.
You will smile. You will laugh. Yes. You will need coffee because you stayed up past your bedtime reading. Sorry, not sorry.
If you can’t find Savannah, she’s probably hiding with a book, dancing Zumba, or going a little crazy being the fun carpool mom who cranks the tunes and always goes through the drive-thru for copious amounts of sugar and fat on the way home from school.
(Can you keep a secret? I thought so. Savannah also writes as Patty H Scott, which is the Clark Kent to her Superman. If you like clean romance, check out Patty's books.)

Tight End Declan O’Connell has just found himself in a place that no football player ever wants to land... on the injured list. Now he's looking at weeks of recovery from his couch instead of standing on the side lines suited up and ready to play... and he's not all that happy about it. Lucky for him he's about to have a little sunshine added to his gloomy world!
Tangled with the Tight End is a heartfelt and funny opposites attract love story that is destined to leave you with a smile. These two come from completely different worlds and it shows with every interaction they have, but it's also those differences that bring them closer together.
When Winona is hired to be Declan's home health aide she has no idea who is or how famous he is, and for him that is kind of refreshing. A woman who wants nothing from him because of his job and the fame that comes with it. She is just there to do a job and help him with anything he needs... nothing more or less. To him it seems almost impossible to meet a woman in their town that knows nothing about him or the sport he plays, but it's true and he couldn't be more happy about it!
Somewhere between healing and helping him with daily tasks, Winona starts to see something she likes, but a relationship just isn't in the cards for her, so she puts those feelings away. But Declan isn't letting her get away that easily!
Page after page this wonderfully penned romance delighted and brought many smiles and joy. I loved the story these two had to tell, it was engaging, it warmed my heart and it left me wanting more! Highly recommend you take a chance on this one, it's well crafted characters are destined to steal your heart the moment they wander onto the page!
